My name is Zachary, and I am a Pre-Hospital Paramedic Care student and upcoming paramedic. This glossary is for anyone who wants to earn about paramedic and the terms communally use at school and on the job. This could seriously help you if you plan to enter this area or if you are already in it. I suggest you to look at it

Aspirin
Noun
Medication used in Pre-Hospital for heart problems who act on the blood.
Example: Paramedics give aspirin to the patient.

Backboard
Noun
The backboard is a plastic board usually used to fix patient who are lying on the floor.
Example: The paramedics use the backboard to move the patient on the floor to the stretcher.

Bradycardia
Noun
Heart who beat faster than average.
Example: The patient’s heart beats more slowly than average. He is in bradycardia.

Bradypnea
Noun
Breathing lower than normal.
Example: The patient is breathing more slowly than average. He is in bradypnea

Cervical collar
Noun
The cervical collar is a collar used to immobilize the neck of traumatized patient.

Defibrillation pads

Pads that are glued to the patient’s chest and used to restart the patient’s heart.
